The Creative Lab is a series of live crowd-funding events held in London's most captivating venues.
NXCL's Creative Lab connects budding entrepreneurs to their potential supporters in real-time. Think Kickstarter, but LIVE - you can meet your potential backers, share ideas and get inspired by the creative vibe.
No Dragon's Den, no stressful pitches. Just sharing your passion with like-minded folks. Our audience votes for who to fund and the winner walks away with all money raised at the door.
From local neighbourhood shops to tech start-ups in Shoreditch, we connect inspiring people and promote inspiring ideas.
We work with all sorts of communities - from the hyperlocal to the hyperlinked! Every event is curated to bring benefit back to the community involved.
We support entrepreneurs who are on the leading edge in their fields. Participants and audience members alike leave our events feeling inspired and ready to continue creating.

NX Creative Lab: Connections
6 June from 6:30pm
at The Peckham Pelican
We got together on Monday 6 June 2016 for another edition of our signature event, The Creative Lab. This time, we celebrated the theme of 'Connections' - focusing on businesses that merge fields, forge relationships and involve their customers and audiences in broad ways. Our lovely panelists included Rowena Humphreys of V-Curious, who advocate for people to live vibrant, healthy and energised lives through a simple and holistic approach to nutrition and food, Christopher Hogg, our Goldsmiths College fellow and a multitalented individual who works as an entrepreneur, academic, poet and playwright, and Nadjib Achaibou - a London based perfumer, classically trained at ISIPCA and one of the co-founders of the Crossmodalism movement.
As for The Lab, big congratulations to Blooming Ludus! Since their launch in 2015, Blooming Ludus is a participatory theatre company that focuses on exploring our connection to the world we live in. Through community workshops, story gathering and devising, we create performances where the audience is invited to co-author, discover and ask questions. Make sure you check out their website.
